Changed fuel pump in 94 dodge ram, but still wont start; don't believe its getting a spark! ?

you,ll have to check it first to see if its getting any spark unless you do that we cant help you,if it is getting spark listen to see if the fuel pump is kicking on,you should be able to hear it run when you turn the key on,if not be sure and check the fuse for the pump if its blown it wont get any fuel and cannot run,no spark at the plugs will be a totally different problem with it.good luck .

Make sure you turned the fuel pump switch on. If its not getting spark test the battery. You may need to replace the ignition wires and spark plugs.

I have a 93 ram that did the same thing. If the check engine light does not come on when you turn the ignition to the run position, then it is probably your computer. Try putting your truck in an enclosed place somewhere out of the wind, and put a hair dryer or heat gun so that it is pointed at the computer and leave it there for a little while. Make sure the ignition switch is in the run position the whole time. The relays under the hood may start to chatter, but that is normal. When the computer is at the operating temperature, the check engine light will come on in the truck. then you should be able to start it. If that is the case, you can send your computer out through autozone and have it rebuilt for around $200.00
