i dont think so specially with fuel injected cars. If the sensors detect a too rich fuel mixture they decrease the amount of fuel pumped
No matter what you do your new fuel pump will never beat the gas milage of your failed fuel pump
no it will not the car takes in the right amount of fuel it needs no matter what doesn't matter what kind or size of fuel pump u have
while all the answers are 'technically' correct, i must add this...if the vehicle is carbureted, changing the fuel pump %26quot;may actually%26quot; change the amount of gas a car 'uses'...if that fuel pump is leaking, changing the pump will stop that leak, thus effectively 'using' less gas.
