How do you change a fuel pump in a Ford falcon sedan?

Damn, didn't know anyone out here even remembered the Falcon.

Soak fuel line inlet/outlet flare fittings w/ PB Blaster. If you don't twist-off the fuel lines, remove the 2 capscrews holding the pump to the block %26amp; remove the pump.

Coat the new gasket with grease, install the new pump %26amp; torque the capscrews, reconnect the fuel lines.

Disconnect the coil wire, crank the engine %26amp; check for leaks at the fittings. If no leaks, put the coil wire back on %26amp; fire that puppy up.

We were talking 6-cyl. right?

if you are talking about the older american falcon...it is located on the side of the engine held on by 2 bolts and 2 fuel lines....newer austrailian falcons have in tank fuel pumps...and are much more labor intensive....tank removal....etc
