Would a bad fuel pump relay cause car to stall?

I have been having problems with my car everynow and then after driving a while it would stall. I changed fuel filter and pump and still same thing. TAzoday i decided to try swaping fuel pump relay and car seems fine but i dont know yet. Just crious would a faulty relay cause these stalling problem i thought relay was just to start the pump to start car?

It's one possible cause.



The relay switches power to the pump. If it is not allowing power to get to the pump or does it does so intermittantly, you car may stall.

Yes.
a faulty relays will stop 'relaying' electric to the fuel pump.
It is very possible, but your key thing to watch is the relay you swapped it for, if you swapped it for an AC relay, see how your AC works. Hope you didn't swap it for a cooling fan relay.
Yes it can,the relay gives powr to the fuel pump once the key is turned on ,the relay could be getting hot causing it to lose contact,which will stop power from going to the fuel pump.
