doesn't come on i cheanged the ignition module coill pack plugs wires, . sometimes when the cars is at a stand still and running i hear a loud thud in the fuel tank. the fuel pump acts like its whats to come on but the the car will start and turn on but shut off and at other times the car is fine.
I have a 1995 buick park avenue i changed the fuel pump but when its cold i turn the key sometimes the pump?
Well when you put in the new pump did you replace the screen on the end?
Did you replace the fuel filter?
If say the pump is trying to pump and say the filter is stopted up the pump turns on, feels a lot of resistance and then shuts down.
Sorry to say looks like you need to pull the pump out again.
