Is there an easy way to change the fuel pump on a 2001 camaro?

I was told you had to drop the exhaust to change the fuel pump on this car. the way the exhaust is run you cant just drop it you have to cut it or drop the rearend. If anyone knows of an easier way to change the fuel pump on a 2001 camaro please let me know............

if the exhaust isnt running under the tank, then you should have plenty of room to drop the tank, besides if the exhaust is running under the tank, why would anyone run it under the tank. your exhaust is suppose to run clost to the sides of the car, not under the tank.
what you haft to drop is the gass tank the pump is in side of it you might haft to drop somthing else to get the tank down.
I've done many of these, you do need to drop the exhaust in order to drop the tank, there is no way around that.

The short answer is no theres not why? The fuel pump is in the fuel tank it keeps everything nice and cool now the only way to get to it is to drop the fuel tank im not sure about the exhaust but Im thinking it has to come out to to be able to drop the tank
