Just changed fuel pump in 1999 gmc sonoma but gas gage still dont work any suggestions?

I assume youre talking about an electric fuel pump otherwise youve wasted your time. to test whether its your sender (in tank) or guage earth(ground) the sender wire with ign. on and guage should read full if it doesnt its probably your dash guage unless connections are loose or rubbed through on body as previous answer stated. hope this helps

When you say you changed the pump, do you mean you changed the entire sending unit? The sending unit includes the floater which measures the amount of gas in the tank. If you only changed the pump, then check the floater. If you did the whole sending unit, then there is something wrong between the tank and the gauge.
